The main objective is to provide training opportunities to all eligible youth between the ages of 14-35 in their preferred trades. This includes offering facilities for acquiring and improving skills for the unskilled and semi-skilled workforce. Additionally, there is a specific focus on providing training to vulnerable groups such as women, persons with disabilities, and minorities. To ensure equal opportunities, 30% of the training targets are allocated for women, while 20% are designated for minorities. It is important to note that the training courses offered will be in compliance with the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) to ensure the highest quality of education and skill development.

U.P. Skill Development Mission

उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने 'प्रोजेक्ट प्रवीण' के माध्यम से राज्य में 61,000 से अधिक लड़के और लड़कियों को कौशल प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया है।

मुख्य बिंदु:

इस योजना के तहत युवाओं को रोज़गार बाज़ार के लिये तैयार होने के लिये मुफ्त कौशल प्रशिक्षण और नए ज़माने के पाठ्यक्रम प्रदान किये जा रहे हैं।

यह परियोजना राज्य के उच्चतर माध्यमिक विद्यालयों में पढ़ने वाले कक्षा 9 से 12 तक के छात्रों के लिये है।
- छात्र अपने नियमित अध्ययन के साथ-साथ IT क्षेत्र, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, सौंदर्य, स्वास्थ्य सेवा, परिधान और लेखांकन जैसे अपने हितों से जुड़े ट्रेडों में दैनिक निःशुल्क प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर रहे हैं।
'प्रोजेक्ट प्रवीण' माध्यमिक शिक्षा और उत्तर प्रदेश कौशल विकास मिशन के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) के तहत संचालित किया जा रहा है।
इस परियोजना का प्राथमिक उद्देश्य राज्य की शिक्षा प्रणाली और पाठ्यक्रम में सुधार करना है।
प्रोजेक्ट प्रवीण को वर्ष 2022-23 में एक पायलट प्रोजेक्ट के रूप में शुरू किया गया था।
- इस अवधि के दौरान, 150 सरकारी माध्यमिक विद्यालयों में 20,582 छात्रों ने प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त किया। इसके अलावा, कस्तूरबा गांधी बालिका विद्यालय को भी इस योजना से जोड़ा गया, जिससे 3,450 छात्राओं को प्रशिक्षण की सुविधा मिली।
- वर्ष 2023-24 के लिये परियोजना के तहत कुल 315 सरकारी माध्यमिक विद्यालयों को शामिल किया गया है।
- इन संस्थानों के माध्यम से अब तक 61,400 छात्रों को कौशल विकास प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया जा चुका है।
प्रस्तावित सभी पाठ्यक्रम राष्ट्रीय व्यावसायिक शिक्षा एवं प्रशिक्षण परिषद द्वारा अखिल भारतीय स्तर पर प्रामाणित और अनुमोदित हैं।
- प्रशिक्षण और मूल्यांकन पूरा होने पर, छात्रों को ऐसे प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान किये जाते हैं जिनकी पूरे देश में वैधता होती है।
प्रोजेक्ट प्रवीण के तहत प्रशिक्षण लेने वाले छात्रों को स्कूल में ही निजी प्रशिक्षण केंद्रों द्वारा प्रशिक्षण दिया जाता है।
ये प्रशिक्षक शिक्षकों के प्रशिक्षण (TOT) कार्यक्रम के तहत प्रमाणित हैं और कौशल विकास मिशन के तहत पंजीकृत हैं।
